Alma
With just 4 years of existence, Alma is already among the best restaurants in the city, earning two Michelin stars (2016 and 2019). Situated in a former warehouse at the Bertrand bookstore in the Chiado neighborhood, the restaurant values the Portuguese cuisine renewing typical dishes such as grilled sardines, roasted peppers, piglet confit with mashed sweet potato and, of course, fresh seafood. You can also find two tasting menu options specially prepared by Chef Henrique Sá Pessoa.
Belcanto
Also in the Chiado neighborhood, we can find the traditional Belcanto – founded in 1958. With 60 years of history, the restaurant was completely renewed in 2012, becoming the first in Portugal to join the select hall of Michelin with 2 consecutive stars.
All thanks to Chef José Avillez, who applies here all his techniques of haute cuisine that revisit traditional Portuguese dishes. Space is limited to only 28 people, so do not forget to make a reservation.
Eleven
At the highest point in Lisbon, we can find the Eleven. Besides the incredible view over the city, the restaurant offers dishes made only with seasonal, natural and fresh products. Consequently, their menu is seasonal and changes completely depending on the period, but always respecting the earth and every ingredient. The restaurant is headed by Chef Joachim Koerper which is considered one of the ten best cooks of the Iberian Peninsula.
