Red coats colored the fashion week’s street style

Since a few seasons ago, warm colors like yellow and orange have dominated the street style but recently the red color came out and became the best friend of a cool wardrobe. At the Haute Couture Fashion Week, which took place this January and was set in the rigorous Parisian winter, the tone was coloring the coats of the world’s greatest fashion lovers.

While Chanel built a garden inside the Grand Palais providing visitors a necessary shelter from the cold, on the outside, the fashion week guests went through hard times facing low temperatures and snow.

During the Dior runway show, the sun came out giving the guests the opportunity to wear lightweight pieces such as blazers and jackets to watch the circus-themed show, which featured several acrobats and audacious outfits. Throughout the week, as temperatures dropped, we saw more options of heavier wears such as puffer jackets and heavy overcoats.

Of course, the red could not be out of those moments! Unlike burgundy, which creates a more closed-sober look, a vivid tonality can turn the outfit funnier and sexier – no wonder it was the favorite color of street fashion clicks. Easy to match with beige, nude, gray and black pieces, bright red is a great choice. Get Inspired!
