Hermès launches a fashion podcast series

Have you already surrendered to the world of podcasts? Online news, chats, and interview programs have been getting more and more adepts. In order to provide their listeners with a behind-the-scenes view of how Hermès remains as a successful brand in 2019, the label has launched a podcast titled “Faubourg des Rêves” (“Suburb of Dreams”).

They are 8 episodes named like “Pierre-Alexis Dumas, the master of the dreams” and “Karim Seghir, the seigneur of the silhouette”. The listening is highly insightful and each episode takes an average of 12 minutes.

The podcast is a great tribute to the brand’s first and legendary address at 24 Rue de Faubourg Saint-Honoré in Paris. A place where there are workshops, offices, a museum, and a terrace.

The brand interviewed several employees, including Pierre-Alexis Dumas, artistic director of Hermès, Antoine Platteau, décor director of the Faubourg Saint-Honoré store, each with its own specific episode. “Every character is heard, describing their daily life, their work, their chosen paths and the qualities they consider to make Hermès the unique house they are today,” the brand said in a statement.

If you want to listen to the podcast, just click here, but if you prefer it’s also available on Apple, Deezer, Spotify, TuneIn, Stitcher, Soundcloud, and Blubbry.
