The designer Jacquemus opens a charming cafe in Paris

Are fashion and gastronomy from different worlds? Each day, great designers show that, in fact, the two branches are great partners, providing sensory experiences and getting people of all kinds amazed. Who is the new fashion name that’s proving it? Simon Porte Jacquemus! The Frenchman is opening a café in Paris, named Citron.

The new project of the designer is a partnership with the Parisian restaurant Caviar Kaspia and is situated on the first floor of the new Galeries Lafayette, which was recently inaugurated on the Champs Elysées with an innovative concept.

The menu has delicious options with a Mediterranean style focusing on healthy dishes. The menu is signed by some great confectionery chefs like Cédric Grolet, Jeffrey Cagnes and Anthony Courtiells.

The cafe has several options such as buffalo burrata served with tomatoes, onion pie, and lemon tart which was also posted on the designer’s profile on Instagram and everyone is talking about it. In the video, he cracks up the dessert with the spoon, as if it had a more rigid shell.

The place is decorated with simple tables and chairs of pale wood, small lemon trees (that give the name to the place, since “citron” in French is lemon) and pots in a terracotta color. A simple but elegant style – just like Jacquemus fashion.
