Present in most wardrobes, the tone that will dominate the spring looks of 2019 is, in fact, the opposite of what many people have in mind for the season. Instead of bringing intensity and fun as we are used to (mainly to build printed and romantic outfits), white will be the big trend this year!

The “color of light” will invade the outfits of the season. If you’re already used to wearing the social shirt for your day-to-day looks, great! The all-white looks are great not only for the job but for a ride with friends, dinner with the boyfriend or even for the suitcase.

To understand the trend, just remember the looks that dominated the runways of Spring 2019. Balmain attracted the looks with its bulky and extravagant architectural dress, while Chanel took us straight to the beach, with several pieces that included chemises and plain coats.

Also, the white looks did not go unnoticed of the catwalks of Armani, Mansur Gavriel, Victoria Beckham, Missoni, Zimmermann, and Erdem. But one of the looks that caught the eyes was Tod’s, who bet on leather to take a cool look, but still perfect for women who work and want to stay elegant.

This season, monochromatic looks are the favorites. Dresses and all-white sets are on the rise, but an option to break that look, if you want to get into more fun and cool mood, it’s to bet on accessories in other colors, such as belts and bags.

Another proposal to escape the monochrome it’s to invest in pieces that have details in different colors, such as colored bands, applications or even prints that keep the white background! Although this proposal fades a bit of the desired look, it is a good option for those who do not feel comfortable with the all-white look but do not want to stay out of the trend.
