Sleepwear has long since ceased to be synonyms for old, faded pieces to earn the title of luxury items. They now have new cuts, fabrics worthy of night pieces and have even become a trend for street style. No wonder Oscar de la Renta is launching its exclusive line of sleepwear in sync with the arrival of its spring 2019 collection.
According to the label, the line was “worked in Italy using the best silks and ties of Chantilly.” Several prints were worked exclusively for the pieces, being a reinvention of the patterns used in the ready-to-wear collection. In addition, a new stamp promises to be hit: called Tulip Fields, it was “inspired by the flowery fields of Holland in the spring”.
The line features clothing of different lengths, set of pajamas, kaftans and sweaters to relax or entertain at home. Instead of basic pieces, strong colors like green, red and turquoise are the real protagonists. Every detail of the pieces shows a great care and meticulous work to provide charm and elegance.
The campaign, starring the model Joan Smalls, shows the diversity of the pieces, with visuals that could easily be used for a casual day-to-day look.
The collection ranges from $ 690 for corsets and $ 2290 for long clothing and kaftans.
