Now you can stay at the iconic Monet’s Blue House

Are you looking for a different lodging for your next trip? The “Blue House”, owned by Monet, is now available for rent by Airbnb – and, of course, the space will provide you with a cozy and relaxing stay.

Located in Giverny, village with only 509 inhabitants in central Normandy, France, the house was bought by the painter in the 19th century. According to Airbnb, the artist had chosen this dwelling “because the garden was ideal for growing the vegetables he loved to cook.”

The lodging is perfect for families travelers, because the place – which was totally renovated in 2016 – has 3 rooms. Thus, its total capacity is 6 guests, with over the 200 square meters of built area, in addition to garden and vegetable garden with 1,5 thousand square meters.

The space has interesting furniture, works of art, plenty of space and an incredible natural light. In addition to containing seesaws in your garden, they make everything even more fun.

Monet lived in this house for 43 years, and as if this was not an interesting enough experience, from this location it is possible to walk to the painter’s other house, a museum created to celebrate the life and work of the genius of Impressionism.
