Burberry unveiled new campaign with Gigi Hadid

Burberry is showing in its new campaign the 4 different styles that translate Riccardo Tisci’s philosophy for the company. To get this done, Gigi Hadid was scaled for her first photo shooting with the fashion brand and the result couldn’t be more interesting! Having her debut in the Fall 2019 fashion show, the model showed her versatility, taking on diverse personalities through Nick Knight’s lenses and styling by Katy England.

 

 

In the pictures, the American model turned into “the man”, “the boy”, “the lady” and “the girl”, thus revealing the DNA of the fashion brand that produces pieces with more millennial-oriented visuals, as well as having a style that attracts also mature people, who seek more sober clothes – but never bland.

 

 

“What I wanted to do with the collection was to celebrate the breadth of who we speak to as a brand,” Riccardo Tisci said in a statement. He also says that when he started working with the label, he spent a lot of time dedicating himself to the brand’s rich history. “I quickly became very interested in Thomas Burberry and who he was, not only as creator and innovator, but also who he was as a man, husband and father” – and it was from there that he created the new brand monogram that has the initials of its founder – TB.

 

 

As for her debut in the brand, Gigi said: “I have always loved and respected the work of Riccardo, and I feel very honored and grateful that he trusted me in this project. My first Burberry show was my first time working with Riccardo, and the timing seemed perfect”. She added, “This gave us our first chance to really get to know each other. The second I heard what he planned for this shooting, I understood how I wanted to bring it to life and show different sides of myself in each character”. It’s hard not to wish and wait to see more jobs between Burberry and Gigi.
