For the von Furstenberg family, fashion travels through their veins. While the consolidated Diane von Furstenberg is one of the most beloved names in the world, Talita von Furstenberg is following the same steps of her grandmother. At only 19 years old, she is launching her first spring capsule-collection.
The young designer already showed that she was born to the fashion industry while working as a model. In an interview for L’Officiel Belgium, Talita says: “I always felt connected to fashion because of my family, but my love of fashion is so innate, I feel like I was made to do it.”
Her line features 23 pieces that, according to the designer, want to reinterpret the grandmother’s signature theme, but bringing her own essence to the pieces. The looks are feminine and romantic but with a simple appearance with frilly dresses and ultra-bright color palette. “The prints really tell a story and mine is inspired by nature, whether with delicate flowers or hearts moving like waves or the wind through the fabric, everything goes back to nature,” explains Talita.
The collection will be launched on April 24th at the DVF store in Belgium, as well as in the e-commerce of the brand. Prices will range from € 267 to € 319.
