Max Mara releases a desired collection with an interior designer

For spring-summer 2019, Max Mara releases a capsule-collection for its Weekend line, in collaboration with the American interior designer Anthony Baratta. Altogether, there are 12 pieces that reflect the sophistication of the summer retreats of the east coast.

Entitled Nantucket, which is an island near Cape Cod in Massachusetts, its essence is conveyed through a sunlit collection. The designer’s choice could not be more assertive, Anthony is known as the “King of the East Coast Chic,” which explains the whole fresh and elegant mood of the pieces.

His work is known for the audacious use of color, extravagant designs but with a style that is based on traditional and defies predictability. His houses were once the cover of The New York Times, and in 2017 he released a rugs collection in partnership with the Capel Rugs brand.

The result of the combination of the brand with the designer was cheerful and romantic pieces with prints designed by the American ranging from gingham stripes to flowers and Chinese-style porcelain. With a mix of products that includes palazzos pants, dresses and more.

For the campaign pictures, Hailey Bieber plays a different role from the intensity we’re used to seeing. The model brings a softness and freshness to the sensuality in a vacation-like style, which dispenses heavy makeup and extravagant hair.
