The biggest Fall 2019 trends from NYFW

The New York fashion week has come to an end. Famous for having a commercial appeal and collections that are easy to wear, the first stop of the fashion month showed trends that conquered the heart of the biggest fashionistas around the world! We’ve listed 5 of the biggest Fall 2019 trends from this NYFW. Take a look!

Golden

The metallic tones came in full force and golden is the biggest star of the autumn/winter catwalks – either in brighter tones or even in darker and soberer versions. In addition to being the basis of Ralph Lauren’s collection, the color was seen in more than 15 other runways such as Michael Kors and Tom Ford.

Quilted coats and dresses

It was another trend that hit the biggest catwalks during the fashion week! The fabric was present in prominent collections such as Oscar de la Renta and Prabal Gurung, showing that it can be used in different types of pieces, from the most basic day-to-day to more elegant and party ones.

Victorian Collars

The Victorian-style collars, the tall ones with ruffles, were a great bet this season! They give a romantic touch to the outfits and they were seen in Tory Burch (where was greatly highlighted), Marc Jacobs, Brook Collection and Adam Lippes.

Leather

The leather is an autumn/winter classic. Easy to match, it is a great friend of cool outfits. No wonder it was present in more than 10 collections like 3.1 Phillip Lim, Cushnie, Brandon Maxwell and Helmut Lang, appearing even in all-leather looks, stylish and intense ones.

Black and white

There is no more adorable color combination than that! It is easy to wear, it matches everything, it has great contrast and… the greatest brands love it too! It was seen in several collections such as 3.1 Phillip Lim, Marc Jacobs, Brandon Maxwell, Carolina Herrera, Jeremy Scott, and Christian Siriano. Wow!
