Many people hesitated when the belt bag returned to the fashion scene, but the truth is that they got more on the spotlight than we can imagine. The proof is that, according to a research performed in the fashion platform Lyst, the model Gucci Marmont (rounded version with the golden nomogram) was the most desired bag of the year among the fashionistas.

Speaking in numbers, in the last 12 months, every 6 seconds the belt bag was searched on the internet searching mechanisms, heading the called ‘Lyst year in fashion 2018’ – a ranking that gathers the most preferred pieces of the season.

The model belongs to the GG Marmont collection of the Italian luxury brand, and it was presented by Alessandro Michele – director of the brand – for the first time within the Pre-Fall 2017 collection. Since then, it has ruled not only in the fashion editorials but also in the street style outfits for the versatility of its rounded and sport-inspired shape that is up currently.
